"Calm your thoughts. Focus your mind on the each sound and tune it out as you determine that it is not the correct sound." This was one of the harder exercises since it required you to overcome what your mind naturally wanted to do. "Now try it again."
Felran sighed and tried to enhance his hearing once more. He decided to first focus on the chattering....it was too loud too obvious, so he then tuned it out, focusing on something else quickly. It was the rushing of speeders It was still loud, not as loud as the people chattering but still very obvious. So he dug deeper, attempting focusing on the much quiter sounds. He began to hear the faint dripping of a leak from a building. But then he heard it, the quiet beeping. A grin grew on his face as he tried to pinpoint where the noise was coming from. He believed it somewhere was to the west of him but he couldn't gather anything else so he turned to the left and started to move west in hopes of hearing the beeping even if just a little more clearly.
West was indeed correct but Verrill wanted to see if it was a lucky guess or if he had actually done what was asked of him so Verrill took the drone with the force to make it move silently across the room south of Felran.
Felran froze when the beeping got more distant. Felran tried to focus on the sound again, this time being much easier that previous attempts. Happy with discovering the noise Felran started to move south, the beeping getting closer than ever.
Felran did make his way to the beeping just as he was instructed to do after Verrills little test. "Very good now for you sense of touch. I am going to take this pin and I want you to tell me the second the tip of the pin touches your skin. For this you will be blindfolded because I want you to use the force to be able to feel where the point of the needle is. I also will be blindfolded so for this training unlike the other sessions we have went through there will be some chance of pain involved with this. For if you do not tell me to stop soon enough you will be pricked with the pin. Now come over here and sit at this table and we shall begin." Verrill walked over took up his blindfold and placed it over his eyes. He waited for his apprentice to do the same and tell him that he is indeed ready to begin this exercise.
Darth Ares: Don't forget to watch the original Clone Wars by Genndy Tartakovsky though, it's incredible and it's also the only Star Wars media where Grievous isn't a punk bitch
